Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct individual, couples, and/or group counseling sessions to assess and address clients’ mental health concerns.
– Develop and implement treatment plans based on clients’ needs, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
– Provide guidance and support to clients in managing and coping with emotional and psychological challenges.
– Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients.
– Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

– Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
– Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor.
– Proven experience in providing counseling services, preferably in a clinical or private practice setting.
– Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches and techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients.
