Karime Aziz, MS, LPC-Associate Supervised by Guillermo Castañeda, LPC-S

The idea of therapy can seem daunting, especially when it is someone’s first time giving it a try.

However, I strive to ease those initial nerves and fears with the reassurance that therapy truly is all about you, what you are ready for, and what you want to get out of it.

I have always made it a priority to tailor sessions so that they specifically fit my client’s wants, needs and personality.

All of this in the hopes to gain the best experience and outcome in their unique journey towards change, recovery, or improvement.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate Supervised by Guillermo Castaneda, LPC-S and currently work at Counseling of El Paso serving children, adolescents, adults and couples. I graduated in December 2021 with a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from UTEP’s Education Program, CACREP Accredited.

My therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, and Gottman Method Level 1 having worked with issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, as well as psychosocial and environmental problems.

In my free time I enjoy playing video games, studying languages, learning about different cultures, and most of all, spending quality time with friends and family.
