Crippling and excessive anxiety is painful. 

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, 31.1 % of adults experience anxiety during a lifetime and 31.9% of adolescents experience anxiety during adolescence.

It’s common and still difficult.

The onset of symptoms and triggers impact our most day to day tasks.

It interferes and make itself present in our mind, our body and relationships.

In some cases, we doubt if it’s possible for the symptoms to ever go away.

 

There is relief.

 

There are numerous ways to increase our ability to cope with anxiety.

Counseling helps us understand both internal and external factors that may contributing to anxiety symptoms.

There are so many different things that can affect us such as sudden changes, relationship challenges, environmental stress, our beliefs and thoughts, and among many others.

Treatment options and techniques can help target the root of the anxiety symptoms.

Perhaps, the anxiety symptoms have an origin.

With the help of your provider, experiences can be processed and organized.

We can learn and better understand ourselves and our circumstances with the support of a mental health counselor.

 

There is always hope and a way.
